featured surf spot
"Margaret River is the focus of every surfer's vision of this coast, offering some of the best waves in Western Australia. From the township of Margaret River proceed along Wallcliffe Road, 10 kilometres to Prevelly. Here you will find a variety of good-quailty waves, among them Margaret River Main Break or The Point, Grunters, The Bommie, Suicides, The Box, Boat Ramp and The Rivermouth. The most famous of these breaks - and the one best known on the west coast - is Margaret River Main Break or The Point predominantly a left hander, although it can turn on quality hollows up to 2.5 metres."

Taken from the book "Atlas of Australian Surfing" by Mark Warren.
